Antonio Iaria traveled to America through Ellis Island as a 13 year old boy with his family in 1911 from his home in Oppido Mamertina in the Provence of Reggio Calabria, Italy. As an adult he moved his family to the Jersey Shore in 1940.

The Iaria Family has been doing business in Ocean County, New Jersey since 1950. From Iaria Custom Built Homes in the 60’s and 70’s, to the retail Home Improvement Center, Iaria Brothers, Inc., in the 80’s, and Iaria Kitchen & Bath and later Advanced Surfaces in the 90’s, and into the new millennium, the name has always stood for honesty, quality and commitment to customer satisfaction. HELLO! I’m Deborah Iaria, owner of iariatravel.com. I believe at the heart of any good travel consultant is someone who truly loves to travel and I do. My husband, Tony Iaria, and I have traveled extensively throughout the United States, Europe and beyond.

We have been traveling with our daughters, Alicia and Toni, since they were babies. That experience helps me everyday when I’m planning trips for other families. For instance I have always had my daughters bring their bathing suit in their carry on bag. And I tell all my clients to do the same thing, because often on cruises and land vacations too, your bags do not show up in your room for hours after your arrival. So unless you have your suit in your carry on bag you have no way to change. There is nothing more painful for a parent to watch (and listen to) then their child that has to sit by the edge of the pool or on the beach in the long jeans and turtleneck they wore down on the plane from the cold north to the warm south while all the other kids play in the water. I could not believe how many kids were in this position on the last cruise we took. As all parents know, if your child’s not happy, you’re not going to be happy and that’s no way to start a vacation. Their travel agent should have warned them.

My philosophy when I help you plan (and it really takes PLANNING to make it really come together) your travel experience is to put myself in your shoes.
