The 42 room Locale Grand Cayman just opened and Grand Hyatt Grand Cayman Hotel & Residences with 351-key accommodations on Seven Mile Beach.  In addition Grand Cayman will be getting an 80 suite "healing resort" Curio Collection by Hilton, with domed shaped bungalows.

MEXICO

Puerto Vallarta Even after all these years Puerto Vallarta continues to be Mexico's it beach destination because it is continuously renovating itself.  Historic center, colonial architecture and restaurants combined with the Bay of Banderas and the Sierra Madre provide a unique destination.  When it comes to hotels, the Sheraton Buganvilias just opened 2 new restaurants, and the Villa Premiere Boutique Hotels just completed room renovations.

Quintana Roo Encompassing Cancun, Riviera Maya, Cozumel, Playa del Carmen, Tulum and other towns, Quintana Roo is one of Mexico's most popular beach resort areas. It also offers adventure, gastronomy, and strong Mayan Culture.  A new theme park by the XCARET folks, Xavage offers ziplining to white water rafting, off-road adventures.  For culinary aficionados there's Mexico Lindo Cooking School and the Traveler's Table an interactive culinary experience. New hotels are opening daily.  Atelier Playa Mujeres opened in April for guests 16 and older.  It's accommodations feature contemporary Mexican Art, technological innovation and stylish architecture, all with views of the Mexican Caribbean and Isla Mujeres.

CRUISE

Cruise Lines are enhancing their itineraries around the globe, creating everything from solo-focused cruises to sailings for art lovers.

Asia Norwegian will be sending the revitalized Norwegian Spirit from May to December 2020 with a mix of 9 to 15 day voyages.

Australia & New Zealand Windstar will send the newly renovated Star Breeze for 20/2021 winter/spring season. Carrying 312 guests the itineraries will be immersive, seeking out new places to explore.  Hapag-Lloyd's Europe 2 is also headed to Australia for the 2020/21 season, sailing the country's West Coast. An example cruise is the 16 day Melbourne to Bali January 6-22, 2021.

Bermuda & the Caribbean Carnival Cruise Line will offer more than 40 voyages to Bermuda in the 2019/20 season.  In total 6 different ships will offer 4 to 9 day Bermuda Cruises from 5 home ports along the eastern seaboard.

Europe Riveria River Cruises has focused on the solo traveler and added 3 new solo travel itineraries in France, Germany and the Netherlands for 2020.  The cruises are dedicated entirely to solo travelers, and there's no single supplement charge.
